These terms govern your use of the VitalScan app and website. By using VitalScan you agree to them.

1. What VitalScan is — and isn't

VitalScan is a general wellness and screening tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Its readings, scores and sleep-apnea estimates are for information only and must not be relied upon for medical decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional, and seek emergency help for urgent symptoms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use VitalScan and able to form a binding agreement.

3. Your account & devices

You're responsible for the security of your device and account, and for the accuracy of the wearable data you connect. VitalScan can only reflect the data your device records and shares.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account, subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you manage or cancel them in your store account. Refunds are governed by the applicable store's policies.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no reverse engineering, interfering with its operation, using it unlawfully, or relying on it as a medical device. We may suspend access for breach of these terms.

6. Intellectual property

VitalScan and its content are owned by us or our licensors. Third-party names such as Apple Watch, Apple Health, Samsung, Fitbit, Garmin and Oura are trademarks of their respective owners; VitalScan is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made in reliance on the app's information. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves and will note the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
