How do I connect my watch?
Open VitalScan, go to Devices (top-right icon), pick your wearable, and grant access when your phone asks. On iPhone that's Apple Health; on Android it's Health Connect. VitalScan then reads the vitals your watch has recorded.
Which devices are supported?
Apple Watch (Series 6 and later for SpO₂), Samsung Galaxy Watch 4/5/6, Wear OS watches, Fitbit Sense/Charge/Versa, Garmin, and Oura Ring. Coverage per metric depends on what your device records.
Why are some vitals missing?
VitalScan can only show what your watch has measured and shared. Make sure the matching metric is enabled on your watch, that you've worn it recently, and that you granted VitalScan read access for that data type.
Do I need to wear my watch to bed for sleep apnea screening?
Yes. Overnight screening needs blood-oxygen and respiration recorded while you sleep, so wear a device that tracks SpO₂ overnight and has sleep tracking enabled.
Is VitalScan a medical device?
No. It's a wellness and screening tool and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Always consult a clinician about symptoms or a Moderate/Severe sleep apnea result.
How accurate is the sleep apnea screening?
It's a screening estimate based on consumer-wearable SpO₂ and respiration, not a clinical diagnosis. A sleep study (polysomnography) ordered by a clinician remains the only way to diagnose obstructive sleep apnea.
What do the severity bands mean?
We use standard AHI bands: under 5 is Normal, 5–15 Mild, 15–30 Moderate, and over 30 Severe. VitalScan reports an obstructive AHI (oAHI) as the headline figure.
How is billing handled?
Plus and Family & Clinic subscriptions are billed through your App Store or Google Play account. VitalScan never sees your card details.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
Manage your subscription in your App Store (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Play Store → Subscriptions). You keep paid features until the end of the current period.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their store policies. Contact us and we'll help you through the process.
